• Members are responsible for the behaviour of any guests they bring into the lounge

2. Respect & Conduct

• Treat staff, members, guests, and the premises with respect at all times
• No aggressive behaviour, harassment, threats, fighting, discrimination, or intimidation
• Excessive intoxication or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal
• Keep noise levels reasonable and be considerate of others

3. Smoking & Consumption

• Consumption is at your own risk
• Please consume responsibly and know your limits
• Do not pressure others to consume
• No sharing with minors or non-members
• No illegal substances or hard drugs permitted
• Use all smoking devices and equipment responsibly
• Handle hot items and glassware with care

4. Health & Safety

• If you feel unwell, notify staff immediately
• Do not drive or operate machinery while impaired
• Arrange safe transport if needed
• Management is not responsible for any health effects resulting from consumption
• Consult a healthcare professional if you have medical concerns before consuming

5. Damage & Liability

• Members are responsible for any damage caused to property or equipment
• Breakages may be charged to the responsible person
• Personal belongings are brought at your own risk
• Cloud Nine is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items

6. Lounge Etiquette

• Please clean up after yourself
• Dispose of waste in the appropriate bins
• Return shared equipment after use
• Do not move furniture without permission
• Outside food and drinks may be restricted
• Cooldrinks & snack bar available in-store

7. Legal & Compliance

• All activities must comply with South African law
• No buying, selling, or trading of illegal substances
• No photography or video recording of other guests without consent
• CCTV may be in use for safety and security
• Entry into the lounge is voluntary and at your own risk

8. Right of Removal

Cloud Nine reserves the right to:

• Refuse service
• Remove any member or guest
• Suspend or revoke memberships
• Report illegal activity to authorities

Failure to comply may result in immediate removal and suspension of lounge privileges.

9. Respect Everyone’s Privacy

Please respect people’s privacy at all times. Do not intrude into or enter someone’s personal space if you do not know them. Treat everyone with respect and allow people to enjoy the lounge comfortably.

10. No Outside Cannabis

Strictly no outside cannabis is permitted. Only cannabis from inside the club may be used in the lounge.

11. No Pre-Rolled Joints

No outside pre-rolled joints are permitted. Only joints from inside the club may be used in the lounge.

12. No Grinded Cannabis

No grinded cannabis may be brought into the lounge. Only whole buds/nugs are permitted.

13. Playing Times

Playing times will unfortunately have to be limited to ensure that everyone gets a fair opportunity to enjoy the lounge and use the facilities. Further details on playing times will be provided by staff.

14. Membership Termination

Failure to respect or follow these rules may result in the termination of your membership. These rules are in place to maintain a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for all members.
